Another Easy 5 Mile Training Run, And The GR Marathon Is Not Too Far Off

A nice cool comfortable 5 mile run with my running partner. We did get caught in a little bit of rain towards the end of our run. I feel like we kept the pace on the easy side. I think we’re both surprised how close the is, but we’re feeling ready for it.

I’m still looking for some individuals to partner with me, about $200 to go, and help me hit the $1000 mark for wells in Africa. We have matching funds right now so for every $1 that is given it’s actually $2.

    Hitting The Training Run Hard

Today was a short assessment training run, basically 12 minutes of giving it all you’ve got. It’s preceded by, and follows, a 5 minute warmup & cool down run respectively. I did an out-and-back while giving myself some distance for a final cool down walk to home. We’ll see what this means for my final…

    Running Goals & Purpose

When I start talking with people about my running there is always the question of why I’m running and what my goals are. I’ll be honest that running just kind of happened. Don’t misunderstand, running wasn’t an accident, but rather came out of inspiration from my wife and the fact that a team of runners…
