I Am Blessed To Be Able To Run

Short easy 5 mile training run this morning. My focus this morning was on the Jon Martinson family and the people of Sierra Leone. I can’t begin to know what it’s like to lose a spouse or parent at a young age. It’s hard to believe that a man I worked alongside for years, and was always way healthier than me, is facing his last days. As for Sierra Leone, last night I happened to catch a little montage video of my trip, back in May, that Google Photos made. It brought back so many feelings from my time there. I hope that I can return again. I’m also thankful to be a part of improving life there.

Falling Short On My 6 Mile Run

I set out to get a 6 mile run in, unfortunately when I was just past 5 miles I had an upper leg cramp hit me. I had to stop and walk if off before I could start back up again. Then nature called and it was a rush to get home. A lot of…
