Working Hard To Make It Easy

Something I noticed during the run this morning was how far I’ve come with increasing my speed, but also lowering my heart rate at those faster speeds. I’ve had many training runs where this kind of speed would see my heart rate soar. I can see the results however of pushing that heart rate up on a regular basis has given my body the workout needed to actually lower my heart rate during those faster paced runs.

This morning during my prayer and worship time I immediately thought of the staff and kids and the impact that rainy season has on them. I also focused on the teams as they work on drilling new wells. Praying for safety and success as the teams work to put the wells in that the team raised money for.

    Almost A Tuesday 5K

Starting off the week with a short “easy” run even though my training called for an interval run. Even though I’m typically one to follow a training plan pretty closely, I know where I’m at right know with my fitness level. #5K #training
