Hitting My Easy Run Hard, Because It Felt Alright

Despite the outrageous things going on in the United States right now there are still things in our global world that haven’t changed, the need for clean water.

I was a little slow getting out the door this morning but once I hit the pavement things felt good. I can honestly say that, for the most part, when I run it is a brief time when I feel like I am escaping from everything going on in the world. Listening to my music, focusing on my running while listening to my interval stats, trying to just take in my immediate surroundings, and remembering those without clean water. Maybe that is why things felt so good this morning, not that every run is that way, but getting out there has an impact not only physically but mentally and spiritually.
