Getting Back on the Saddle After a Brief Break

After a couple week break, a new phone, new app, and a new training plan I’m back to my early morning runs. I’m hoping that I can get back into things.

The nature of my break from running was in large part due to finding out that my Spring race was postponed to the fall, and on top of that it was postponed again to the weekend following the marathon, which I was also already signed up for. The new stuff phone/app/plan was not related to my break at all really, well the new plan would have been regardless I guess.

    Christmas Eve 10K+ Training Run

    Enjoyed a run with some light snow falling. One challenge was that when I started things were clear, with no snow in the forecast, but a couple miles into the run the snow started and I noticed many slick spots on the sidewalk. And wouldn’t you know I had decided not to wear my cleats….
