Post Injury Easy Run

Distance: 3.58 miles, Time: 40:05, Pace: 11:11 min/mile | Hudsonville - Easy Run / Selfie on the winter streets of my neighborhood after a run.

I’ve been out for about a week dealing with an injury and lack of sleep due to a crazy house schedule. My foot felt OK today, though I kept it easy and didn’t push things by taking on the optional 20 minutes extra running time. I’m hoping I can get back into things, though I’m concerned about getting sick now that my whole family seems to be down with colds.

Back In The Saddle On The Road To Recovery

I couldn’t do another day of just walking. I did my best to keep it a slow jog. I also continued to use the slower pace to have some good one-on-one time with God and pray for friends and family that I know need support for the things they are going through right now. As…

    New Route, Same Running Partner

I met up with my running partner at the Riley Street Middle School this morning, and we tackled a new running route. Runner’s know you don’t want change up too much at once. It was a mostly rural run, had to run the roads for the majority of the route, but that was just fine,…
  • Sticking With The Pacers

I wanted to make sure I hit my target based on how my training went. I decided before the race even started that I was going to stick with the pacers. That plan paid off. Even though my target pace was supposed to be 8:42 min/mi my choices for pacers was 8:30 or 9:00 and…

I’m $875 away from hitting my $1000 fundraising goal. Right now we have matching…
