Running And Giving Thanks

Back at it after my camping vacation. I commend those that are able to stick with the training while on vacation. My love right now isn’t really conducive to running while on vacation much. It was nice to back out running having some worship and prayer time. I spent some time giving God thanks for walking with me as I worked to get healthy, which allows me to run for clean water.

I also spent some time giving Him thanks for the amazing wife He has blessed me with. In many ways my wife is the better half in our family. I’ve been blessed to have someone that can counter my failings when it comes to being a parent but also encourage me in the areas I do better in.

    Day Before The Big Run, Grand Rapids Marathon 2018

    Headed down to the Grand Rapids YMCA downtown and picked up my race packet and checked out the expo. Enjoyed chatting with some #HWI folks as well as some race organizers for other marathons that take place in the Spring. Who knows maybe another marathon besides the #GRMarathon will be in my future some day….

    Quick Lunch Break Run

    Due to having to work about 4 hours in the middle of the night I was in no condition to run this morning so I took my lunch break to get a short run in. It sort of felt like a Minnesota run, but I could tell it was much more wet/humid. #HWI #Run4Water #WhyIRun
