My Longest Run Since The 2019 GR Marathon

Most children in Sierra Leone don’t get to be “just kids” like kids can in America. Many children are the ones responsible for gathering the water that their entire family needs for the day. This results in either no education, or very little. Bringing more clean water to Africa means a better future for the children.

I almost got 9 miles in, which is almost 3 miles beyond the farthest distance I’ve run since finishing the in October. It definitely felt harder on the last half than the 1st half. I’m glad I was able to get through it without getting let cramps again.

Stepping This Up On Training Week Two

Hoping to steps things up another notch this week and also get all 4 of my runs in this week. Enabling A Community With Clean Water

When clean water is brought to a community it’s not done suddenly and randomly then moving on to another random village. World Hope(#WHI) works with a carefully chosen village to establish ownership of the well by that village. The village agrees to manage and care for the well in order to serve their community for…
