Increasing The Effort, Starting to Recover

Distance: 4.52 miles, Time: 50:02, Pace: 11:04 min/mile | Hudsonville - Progressive Run / Me early in the morning on the street outside my home with the snowy yards in the background.

While both recovering from some injury and trying to find off a cold that has hit the rest of my family, I have been trying to increase my running effort slowly. I did feel a little bit of foot pain after the run today but not too bad. I’m hoping that I can get back into a better routine of running and stick to the training plan, it’s been a a challenge lately.

Struggling Through A Solo 15 Miles Training Run

It’s tough doing long training runs all by yourself, and 15 miles is no joke. I pretty much got my peak pace at around 10 miles. The final 5 miles was quite a struggle at times, and my lap pace times reflected it. It’s hard to imagine that I’m going to need to go another…
